The Aventine of Alexandria Completes Large-Scale Renovation

Property Introduces Unique Glass Features, Open Design Aesthetic

 ROCKVILLE, MD (September 11, 2013) – The luxury high-rise complex located minutes from Old Town Alexandria known as The Aventine, has completed a comprehensive renovation of the property’s three towers. The apartment complex offers resort-style amenities and a choice of one-, two- and three-bedroom units.

Consisting of towers that are 16, 17 and 18 stories tall, The Aventine’s renovation has included a myriad of windows and glass accents throughout the property, creating a very modern and open feel that highlights exquisite views.

As part of the extensive renovation, the two top floors of balconies in all three towers were enclosed in glass. Glass garage doors and interior glass walls were also installed. On the roof of the 18-story building, a glass-enclosed amenity space was designed, creating a penthouse fitness center.

For the project, HiRise performed all the glass installation, including windows and curtain wall. HiRise worked with The Bainbridge Companies, a leading owner, developer and manager of luxury multifamily apartment communities in the Eastern United States.

The Aventine, also known as Blvd2801, is located minutes from the shopping and dining experiences Old Town Alexandria and Arlington have to offer. In addition to the brand new fitness center, the property renovation also included the new rooftop deck with views of the nation’s capital. A large swimming pool with a spacious sundeck, theater room, and on-site dog park round out the property’s more distinct amenities.
