Restoration Delivered in Record Time for Bethesda’s Chelsea Towers
Popular Property in Desirable Location Undergoes Complete Renovation
ROCKVILLE, MD (July 27, 2016) – HiRise Windows has completed a comprehensive renovation for Chelsea Towers, the high-rise property near Montgomery Mall and the Capital Beltway, overlooking Cabin John Park.
The large-scale building renovation was performed in concert with a group purchase, planned with the Chelsea Towers Condominium Unit Owners Association. The project included a complete building façade replacement of all the windows. A new curtain wall, which was installed on every floor, was also part of the construction. The group purchase portion contained sliding glass doors and insulated panels on condominium balconies.
To orchestrate the comprehensive project, HiRise worked with Graham Architectural Products, Oldcastle Building Envelope, Sunview Doors and Restoration Engineering, Inc.
“For a project this extensive, with so many moving parts, it was imperative to put the right team of partners together,” said HiRise Windows CEO Kevin Vincent. “We are fortunate to have extensive relationships with top suppliers, ensuring a seamless and timely project outcome,” he added.
Built in 1979 and converted to condominiums in 1983, Chelsea Towers offers one-, two- and three-bedroom units and features 15 residential floors. Its location, near shopping, public transportation and main highways, while also being close to the expanse of green spaces of a neighboring public park, has made it an extremely popular option for residents of all ages.
