Chevy Chase’s Elizabeth Condominiums Finish Multi-Phased Renovation
Prominent Property in Friendship Village Undergoes Complete Restoration
ROCKVILLE, MD (July 31, 2015) – HiRise Windows completed a large-scale restoration project in Chevy Chase today, wrapping up a multi-phased renovation that began in February of 2014. The project included façade repair and restoration, as well as work on the inside of the property, which is located in the heart of the Friendship Village neighborhood.
The special tax district known as The Village of Friendship Heights was created by the Maryland State Legislature in 1914. The next several decades saw extensive growth in residential offerings for this community. Among them, the Elizabeth, built in 1978, is a luxury high-rise property located on North Park Avenue. Today, this prime location on the edge of D.C. offers residents numerous surrounding amenities, including facilities for recreation, as well as education, culture and civic activities. Conveniently located near public transportation, the property is also within walking distance to shopping – from popular discount retailers to luxury brands – as well as restaurants and professional services.
“The comprehensive project included a great deal of intricate façade work, as well as restoration of windows and doors on the entire property, both in the residential and communal spaces,” said HiRise Windows CEO Kevin Vincent. He added, “The members of the Elizabeth Condo Association were great partners throughout the entire process. The end result is something we all take great pride in, especially the residents.” HiRise partnered with Manganaro Midatlantic, WJE, and Legum & Norman to complete the project.
The distinct property also features an indoor heated pool, fitness room, music room with a baby grand piano, and expansive party/entertainment room with flat screen televisions.
